Biz Lab is the flagship business simulation where participants experience the challenge of running a virtual business. Teams make strategic decisions across marketing, finance, operations and HR while competing on business performance. It develops leadership, teamwork, critical thinking and decision-making under pressure.

Live Business Simulation

Round 1: Simulation Challenge

Teams compete individually against AI bots by managing their virtual businesses and making strategic decisions across different business functions. Timely submission of decisions is mandatory. Top 10 teams qualify for the Final Round.

Round 2: Final

The shortlisted teams will compete against each other in the final simulation challenge. The team demonstrating the highest overall performance will emerge as the winner.

Evaluation: Score (40%), Market Share (30%), Profit (30%)

Rules & Regulations

  • Before Round 1, participants receive a 1-hour briefing on the platform/UI.
  • Laptops are mandatory; participants are responsible for their systems. Internet provided.
  • Late submission results in automatic disqualification.
  • Unfair means or unauthorized assistance leads to disqualification.

Event Brief

Case Cracker is a strategic business case-solving competition that tests analytical thinking, structured problem-solving and strategic decision-making. Teams tackle realistic business dilemmas and develop practical, well-supported solutions before presenting them to a panel of judges.

Written Analysis + Stage Pitch

Round 1: Objective Quiz

30 Minutes. Objective Quiz on understanding of a Case Study. Elimination Round from 40 Teams to 20 Teams.

Round 2: Written Elimination

Teams receive a common case study. They analyze the situation and submit a one-page written solution (1 Hr). Shortlisting of top 8 teams.

Round 3: Final Stage Presentation

Finalists receive a fresh and more complex case. 1.5 hours preparation for Case Solution and PPT (Laptop allowed without Internet). Followed by Case Presentation (1 hr 20 mins) and Q&A.

Evaluation: Problem Understanding (25%), Feasibility (25%), Innovation (20%), Presentation (20%), Q&A (10%)

Rules & Regulations

  • No mobile phones/internet during Round 1 unless permitted.
  • One written submission per team; late submissions not accepted.
  • All team members must participate in the final presentation.
  • Generic, non-case-specific solutions will be penalized.

A more challenging and application-oriented round testing how well participants connect knowledge with real-world business contexts (AI, Tech, Strategy, Branding). Speed and accuracy are crucial. Top 5 teams qualify for the Finale.

Round 3: The Grand Business Battle

The Ultimate Stage Showdown.
The top 5 finalist teams will battle it out on stage in a series of fast-paced challenges designed to test business knowledge, recall, speed, observation, and presence of mind.

Event Brief

Biz Reel is an on-the-spot short-video challenge that combines business thinking, storytelling, creativity, marketing, and digital communication.

Working in teams of 2–4 students, participants will receive a business-related theme, prompt, or challenge on the spot. Teams must conceptualise, script, shoot, and edit a 60 second reel entirely on-site.

Meme Marketing

Event Brief

Meme Marketing is a two-round, on-the-spot creative challenge that blends humour, branding instinct and digital marketing skills. Working in teams of 2–4 members, participants will be handed random assignments and real-world situations and must turn them into original, shareable meme content under time pressure.

In Round 1, teams draw a random product-and-twist combination and transform it into a witty meme. In Round 2, shortlisted teams are given a real-life crisis or market situation and must design and present a 2-meme campaign around it.

No pre-made or pre-edited content is allowed — everything must be conceptualised and created live during the event.

Round 1: Draw. Combine. Create.

Teams will send one representative to draw from two bowls — Bowl 1 (The Product) and Bowl 2 (The Twist). Every combination produces a unique situation, keeping the round unpredictable. Teams may also draw a "Lucky Chit" giving them complete creative freedom.

Format (40 mins):
1. Draw Your Assignment.
2. Understand the Combination.
3. Develop the Concept.
4. Create the Meme on the spot.
5. Present briefly to judges.

Evaluation: Creativity (25%), Humour (25%), Trend Relevance (25%), Visual Execution (25%)

Round 2: Face the Crisis.

Shortlisted teams will be handed a real-world business situation or crisis and must build a 2-meme campaign around it. Each team gets a fixed presentation window.

Format (40 mins creation, 90 sec presentation):
Tackle crises like "Your Brand Is Getting Roasted Online" or "10-Minute Delivery War".

Evaluation: Creativity (20%), Crisis Response (20%), Audience Relevance (20%), Humour (20%), Presentation (20%)

Rules & Regulations

  • All memes must be original and created during the event.
  • AI tools may be used only for minor editing assistance; AI-generated complete memes are not permitted.
  • Participants may use tools like Canva, Photoshop, or Picsart.
  • Copying another team's idea or reposting internet memes results in disqualification.
  • More specific details will be revealed at the time of the event.
